The Broadway, Crouch End
Haringey · N8Three new roof-top apartmentsPlanning permission granted September 2026
Haringey Council granted planning permission in September 2026 for an additional storey of three new flats on the roof of a commercial building on The Broadway, set back behind the parapet so they read as a light, glazed top storey. The scheme builds on two earlier permissions for the site. Each apartment has its own planted terrace or garden, with frameless glass balustrades, sliding doors and an overhanging aluminium louvre to shade the glass.

Transenna Works, Islington
Islington · N1Four new apartmentsPlanning application being determined
A full planning application (ref. P2026/1008/FUL) was registered with Islington Council in May 2026 and is currently being determined. It proposes a four-storey brick building replacing a two-storey pair of houses on a tight site beside a primary school: three two-bedroom apartments and one three-bedroom, with parking, screened air source heat pumps and solar panels. Lead-clad dormers and glass balconies give the upper floors space and light.
